Led by Write On leader, teacher, and former contest winner Erica Dei Rossi, a team of members determined the winning essays. Thanks go to Sandra Mazzuola, Jeanne Gaia, Joan Erreca, Jody Bussey, Diane Oren, and Betty Parsons. Lisa Wilkins and Anntoinnette Silva Backus helped get the word out in Lodi.

Branch members will be inspired by prize-winning essays from our high-school contest: Congratulations to first-place winner Syrell Gatan, from Stagg, second-place winner Maeve Cottin-Rack from Lincoln, and third-place winner Vida Gonzales from Lodi High School.

AAUW members LOVE reading! Led by Cindy Milford, our readers participated in this year's Rotary Read-In at Kennedy Elementary.

Mentees were treated to an art tour at the Haggin Museum from docents Jeanne Gaia and Ronda Sanders. Mentor Jennifer Reiber led us in a guided painting session in the museum classroom. For some of our mentees it was their first visit to the Haggin!

At AAUW Stockton, we are dedicated to promoting education and equality for all. Our mission encompasses providing resources and support for students and educators in our community. We thank school superintendents Neil Young (Lodi), Dr. Troy Brown (SJ County), Kelly Dextraze (Lincoln), and Dr. Michelle Rodriguez (Stockton) for sharing their priorities and concerns for their districts. And we thank all for braving the fog

Our state work is guided by a set of core values, including compassion, integrity, and collaboration.

Through our programs and initiatives, we have been able to make a positive impact in the lives of many. From supporting local businesses to providing basic necessities to those in need, we are proud of our achievements and the impact we have made.
